Drama

Drama I

Grades:
9-12

Drama is an area that emphasizes self-expression through acting and creation of character. By portraying different characters, the student learns about him/herself and the world around him/her. The creative process is utilized in many ways other than acting: set design, costumes, lighting, sound, props, and stage management.

Drama II

Grades:

The student will continue performing and learning about technical theatre. More emphasis is put on student directing and heading up tech crews. Also, advanced students will lead other students in specialized projects.
