A Kansas resident who has graduated from an accredited Kansas public or a private secondary school (or Kansas homeschool) within the preceding 12 months.

A Kansas resident who has been in Kansas for three or more consecutive years and who is at least 21 years of age or older.

A dependent child of a military service member permanently stationed in another state who graduated in the last 12 months.
Income Limit:

All eligible students must have a family household income of:

Equal to or less than $100,000 for a family of two

Equal to or less than $150,000 for a family of three
-
Equal to or less than $150,000 plus $4,800 for each additional family member for household sizes greater than three.

If there is scholarship money left in the Kansas Promise Scholarship program fund during the award year after awarding scholarships to the students who qualify based on the above income levels, Kansas Promise Scholarships may be awarded to eligible students whose family household income exceeds the set limits.

- Students must be seniors attending and graduating from a member school of the Kansas State High School Activities Association during the 2023-24 school year and have rostered in the chosen activity their senior year.
- Students must be considered as students in good standing as confirmed by their building principal.
- Students must enroll and attend a post-secondary institution of their choice as a full-time student within two years of graduation.
- Applicants must be in their final semester of high school. If you are a Division I bound athlete, please check with your institution about eligibility for this scholarship before applying.

1) Qualified applicants who complete this application will be considered for all Kansas 4-H State Scholarships.
2) Changes in educational plans including choice of College/University, and intended major stated on this application may result in the recipient not being awarded the scholarship.
3) All files to be uploaded MUST be in PDF form.
4) It is the responsibility of the applicant/recipient to contact K-State Research and Extension Department of 4-H Youth Development with any changes to the scholarship application and/or educational plan.
5) All applications and supporting materials must be submitted no later than March 1, 2022. An application missing any uploaded files or other supporting materials will not be evaluated.
