Kansas Promise Scholarship

  • A Kansas resident who has graduated from an accredited Kansas public or a private secondary school (or Kansas homeschool) within the preceding 12 months.

  • A Kansas resident who has been in Kansas for three or more consecutive years and who is at least 21 years of age or older.

  • A dependent child of a military service member permanently stationed in another state who graduated in the last 12 months.

Income Limit:

  • All eligible students must have a family household income of:

    • Equal to or less than $100,000 for a family of two

    • Equal to or less than $150,000 for a family of three

    • Equal to or less than $150,000 plus $4,800 for each additional family member for household sizes greater than three.

  • If there is scholarship money left in the Kansas Promise Scholarship program fund during the award year after awarding scholarships to the students who qualify based on the above income levels, Kansas Promise Scholarships may be awarded to eligible students whose family household income exceeds the set limits.

Marine Corps Scholarship

  • Child or step-child of one of the following:
    • Active duty, Reserve, or veteran* U.S. Marine
    • A Marine killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps
    • Active duty, reserve, or veteran U.S. Navy Corpsman, Navy Chaplain or Religious Program Specialist who is or was attached to a U.S. Marine Corps unit or who was killed while serving with a U.S. Marine Corps unit*
  • Minimum 2.00 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need through a family adjusted gross income of $129,000 or less for the 2024 tax year
  • Attending or planning to attend an accredited school that is eligible for federal funding
  • Submit a completed application with all required documents by the deadline

* Veterans must have received an honorable discharge.

  • Students must be seniors attending and graduating from a member school of the Kansas State High School Activities Association during the 2023-24 school year and have rostered in the chosen activity their senior year.

  • Students must enroll and attend a post-secondary institution of their choice as a full-time student within two years of graduation.
  • Applicants must be in their final semester of high school. If you are a Division I bound athlete, please check with your institution about eligibility for this scholarship before applying.

  1. A graduating Senior of USD 475, St. Xavier, or USD 473, who will pursue post-high school training. This could include technical school, cosmetology school, college or university, or any other legitimate training institution.

  3. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher should be maintained.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation

  • Eligibility Criteria. No Exceptions.
    1. Must attend a high school located in the United States.
    2. Must be in the high school graduating class.
    3. All students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply regardless of nationality or citizenship.
    4. Must have achieved an unweighted 3.50 CGPA based on a 4.0 Grading Scale.
    5. Must provide a current copy of the applicant’s High School Transcript.
    6. Must provide an “unsealed” Letter of Recommendation. If an unsealed LOR is not available from an educator, provide from a non-educator.
    7. Must enroll in an eligible four-year College or University the first fall semester following high school graduation.
    8. The scholarship cannot be used to attend a community college, junior college, or online institution.
    9. Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule, or complete the equivalent of a four year degree if in a professional program.
    10. Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2026 until September 1, 2026 to be eligible for a fall semester disbursement. Work must be regularly scheduled non-family employment performed under supervision for compensation. Employment can be full-time or part-time.
    11. Parents Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2024 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $125,000.
    12. U.S. Citizens must provide the first two pages of their FAFSA Summary. The FAFSA Summary must show the SAI.
    13. Non U.S. Citizens must provide Proof of non-U.S. Citizenship. Copy of Foreign Passport or Green Card.
    14. Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.
  • The intended scholarship recipient is a high-achieving goal-driven student having substantial financial need.
